Meka Srikanth a multi talented telugu actor who is well known as Srikanth. He is born on March 23rd, 1968 whose family is from Gangavathy, Karnataka. Actually Srikanth was born in Vijayawada. He completed his graduation in Commerce (B.Com) and also got a diploma from film institute. Srikanth got married to Uma Maheswari who is popular as Actress Ooha. She acted with him in the films like “Aame” and “Aayanagaru”. Srikanth has blessed with three kids named Roshan, Medha and Rohan.
Film Journey
He started his film career with minor roles as villain and support artist. Srikanth started his career with small roles in telugu industry after completing his course in acting, acted as a villain in hit movies like “Sitaratnam Gari Abbai” and “Varasudu” opposite Nagarjuna. Srikanth’s first movie acted is “People’s Encounter” produced by Usha kiran movies under the direction of Mohan Gandhi. The first notable hit came to him in 1995 with the movie “Taj Mahal” and the film is produced by Movie Moghal Dr.D.Ramanaidu under the banner of Suresh Productions. The movie became super hit.
From then onwards he has no need to look back. He became a superstar with the biggest blockbuster of the year “Pelli Sandadi”, which is directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. After “Pelli Sandadi”, Srikanth acted under the direction of S.V.Krishna Reddy and gave some good hits like “Vinodam”, “Egire Pavurama” and “Aahvaanam” etc. His hit movies were “Khadgam”, “Sankar Dada M.B.B.S”, “Pellam Orelithe”, “Yemandoi Srivaru”, “Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi”, “Oo Chinadana” and “Mahatma”. His early break came with “Tajmahal”. Sri Kanth is the only star after the Mega Star Chiranjevi got success in Telugu industry with his own hard work and without any support. “Mahatma” is Srikanth’s 100th movie and directed by creative director Krishna Vamshi.
Srikanth was initially appreciated by almost all the top directors like K.Raghavendra Rao, E.V.V.Satyanarayana and S.V.Krishna Reddy etc for his dedication and discipline. Srikanth considered being the best character hero in Telugu movie industry. After “Mahatma” his films were “A Aa E Ee”, “Ranga the Donga”, “Dushasana”, “Virodhi”, “Sri Rama Rajyam”, “All the Best”, “Shirdi Sai”, “Lucky”, “Devaraya”, “Sevakudu”, “Shatruvu”. His recent release “Shadow” with Victory Venkatesh got mixed response and once again critics praised for his acting. Currently he is working for the film “Anucharudu”.
