Vasavi College of Engineering’s two day annual inter-college fest was high on fun and glamour. The adrenaline-filled afternoon saw some high spirited dancing, hilarious skits and melodious performances from more than 80 students. VNR College’s Abhijeet upped the tempo with his dance medley which included everything from slow robotic steps and cool hip hop moves to Michael Jackson’s signature moonwalk. Utkarsh Varma’s Punjabi renditions were a hit with students too. Vasavi students showcased some unique performances including a karate show, a satire on Telugu channel soaps and beatboxing performances. The show ended with the college’s theatre group Abhinaya putting up a dance performance as a tribute to Bollywood’s dancing diva Madhuri Dixit. Dressed in colourful skirts, the gang of 15 girls danced to 10 of Madhuri’s biggest hits like Choli Ke Peeche, Chane Ke Kheth Mein, Que Sera, Dola Re and Aaja Nachle.
