Mega attack on Bhai!

King Nagarjuna showed his romantic moods to ravishing Bengali Rasogulla Rich Gangopadhyaya even at his age turning Bhai. Bhai planned to entertain movie lovers during Vinayaka Chavithi. However Bhai immersed in romantic mood, didnot foresee the danger of Mega Power Star Ram Charan's yevadu, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi.

It is a known fact that the moment tensions in Andhra region cool down, these two mega films will hit the silver screen. Now Bhai scared to face them postponed the audio release from Aug 15th to Sep 1st. This means even film release won't be during Vinayaka Chavithi.

Missing strings in 'Mirchi'

Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Anushka,Richa Gangopadhyaya’s mass entertainer ‘Mirchi’ directed by Koratala Siva hit the screens across the world in a grand manner. It immediately made strong impact on masses. However some feel that there are some missing strings in Mirchi.

Some of the missing strings include
1. Prabhas’s sensational and scintillating dances to DSP’s music.

Most of the songs lacked Prabhas’ fast movements and they are venting their ire on choreographer.

2. Darling’s romance with Richa and Anushka.

While some are satisfied with his romance with Anushka, many are disappointed with his lack of romantic touch with Richa.

3. Lack of elevation of Prabhas

Many are let off with the director in the climax as it did not in any manner elevate Prabhas’s heroism to the core.

Wonder what film makers say on this response from movie lovers.

Sarochcharu review

  • Ravi Teja as Karthik

  • Kajal Agarwal as Sandhya

  • Richa Gangopadhyay as Vasudha

  • Nara Rohith

  • Jayasudha

  • Chandramohan

  • Raviprakash

  • M. S. Narayana

  • Srinivasa Reddy

  • Kalpitha
Raviteja who has been running through poor form has come up with Sarocharu, in which he has done a role which is classy in appearance, much different to what he does regularly. Did this work out to give a break for him from the flop streak? Check out...

    What is it about?

Sandhya (Kajal) is waiting for her soul mate and one fine day she bumps into Karthik (Raviteja) who has similar ideologies as her. She falls in love with him and tries to woo him. But Karthik gives her a big shock by telling that he was already married. What happens in this unusual love story is what this film is about.

    Performances:

Raviteja looked a bit aged to play the role of Karthik. However, his natural ease and screen presence pulled it off. Although there are some shortcomings from his side, ultimately he is the saving grace for this film. Nara Rohith is a surprise package. He did well in the cameo and will be remembered after watching this film.

Kajal is neat as bubbly girl and Richa Gangopadhyay is adorable. Jayasudha is natural as ever. MS Narayana sparkled in a scene.

    On the Technical Front:

Devi Sri Prasad's music is peppy and entertaining. Katuka Kallu and Racha Rambola will click with the masses. Background score is fine and cinematography is decent. Edit is up to the mark. The film's overall length is just over two hours.

Director Parasuram who has done a very fine job in his previous film Solo is a bit lazy here. The characters are underdeveloped and the scenes are half baked. His writing also is pretty bad. As a director this is his weakest film to date.

    Analysis:

Love before marriage and life after marriage is the basic premise of this film. An interesting one indeed! This needs absolute attention to every detail and character. Every situation should be natural. But the director's choice of narrating it in a flashback mode didn't work.

The twist that he used is not new. We have seen similar twist in Prabhas's Darling movie. Director failed to bring right emotions and create emotional situations. You cannot connect with the characters on screen as they look artificial all the way. Only better character has been played by Nara Rohith and he impresses.

Lot of talking is there and entertainment is completely missing. There is no comedy too. Director should have made this film as a romantic entertainer. Completeness in script is lacking and that hampers the chances of this film to score at the box office. None of the situations look convincing as everything seems forced and out of nowhere.

Raviteja doing a film which is different from his routine style of movies is the USP of Sarocharu. We have to wait and see if that can save this film to sail safe. As per the current indications that seems highly impossible. Maybe holiday season should come to its rescue.
