Star Portrait-Prakash Raj




Prakash Raj is a popular character artist. He was born on 26 March 1965  in Puttur, Karnataka in a Bunt family.

Education

He completed schooling at St. Joseph's Boys' High School, Bangalore and  later joined St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore.

Personal

 Prakash Rai changed his name to Prakash Raj based on prominent Tamil  film director K. Balachander's advice, however he is still called Prakash  Rai in his home town Karnataka.Prakash married actress Lalitha Kumari in  1994. They have two daughters—Meghana and Pooja and a son, Sidhu. Sidhu  died of injuries sustained in a fall in 2004.The couple divorced in  2009.He married choreographer Pony Verma on August 24, 2010

Films

 He is actor, director, producer and television presenter, who mainly  works in the South Indian film industry. After working in the Kannada  cinema for a few years, he entered Tamil film industry, through K.  Balachander in his movie Duet (1994). In remembrance, he named his  production company Duet Movies. He has played a variety of roles,  most notably as the antagonist and of late, as a character actor. He has  won a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1998 for Mani  Ratnam's Iruvar and a National Film Award for Best Actor in 2009 for his  role in Kanchivaram, a Tamil film directed by Priyadarshan. Prakash  Raj is also the host of Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi from the game show's  second season onwards.

Producer

Prakash Raj Produced Naanu Nanna Kanasu in Kannada (2010), a remake of his own Tamil production Abhiyum Naanum.His latest directorial venture is a Tamil – Telugu bilingual, sports venture Dhoni named after Indian cricket captain.

Director

He took on the mantle of director and has directed several movies in Tamil (Kollywood). Most of the movies he produced turned out to be box-office hits and were also critically acclaimed.

He produced the movie Dhaya in which he acted as the hero with actress Meena which was a hit and earned him a special jury award for his performance.. He made Puttakkana Highway in Kannada which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Kannada in 2011.

YVS.Chowdhary is born on 23 May 1965 at Gudiwada, Andhra Pradesh. He is a well known Film Director, Producer, Screen Writer, Distributor and Exhibitor in telugu industry.

Film Career

YVS.Chowdhary as a director did eight films.  Among them were Devdas and Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo ran for more than 175 days. Before becoming a director, he has associated with directors such as K. Raghavendra Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Mahesh Bhatt and Krishna Vamsi.

Producer

His movie productions include Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Devdasu, Sree Seetharamula Kalyanam Choothamu Raarandi,Seetharama Raju, Yuvaraju and Seathaiah. He also producued Nippu. Currently he is directing Sai Dharam Teja in Rey.

Personal

YVS Chowdary is a fan of NTR before he entered Tollywood. He started the trend of making films with new star cast in Akkineni Nagarjuna's home production film titled Sri Seetharamula Kalyanam Choothamu Raarandi. He directed actors such as Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna,, Nandamuri Harikrishna, Mahesh Babu,Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mohan Babu in his other projects. He introduced "Venkat", "Chandu", "Chandni" in his first film. "Aditya Om", "Ankita Jhaveri", in his fourth film and "Ram", "Ileana D'Cruz" in his sixth film.

Star Portrait-Bellamkonda Suresh



Bellamkonda Suresh is popular film maker. He is married to Bellamkonda Padma and is blessed with two children Sai Ganesh and Sai Srinivas.

He was in media blitz when he got involved in shooting incident with Balakrishna on June 3, 2004 around 20:50 hrs at his residence in Jubilee

Hills, Hyderabad.

He was wounded and was admitted in Apollo hospital. Human Right Forum (HRF) later questioned the people but it did not arrive at any logical conclusion.  The two victims have given statements before the magistrate alleging that actor has fired shots at them during their treatment in the hospital but soon they were retracted and made volte-face of their earlier statements

Films

Bellamkonda Suresh entered into the film industry with Maa Annayya and later produced films like Chenna Kesava Reddy and Lakshmi Narasimha with Balakrishna. He produced superhit film Kanchana, Kandireega and more recently Bodyguard, Busstop,Thadaka,Jabardsath.

Ashwini Dutt is the noted producer in telugu cinema. He was born on 15th September. He is blessed with three daughters. His daughter Priyanka's film Yadonki Baarat will be screened in Cannes festival soon.

Film career

Ashwini Dutt is the founder of the production house Vyjayanthi Movies in 1974. he movie house landed its first step with ‘O Seetha Katha’ as a debut venture in to the industry and is still going unabated with its latest production ‘Kantri’.

The production house doled out many hits over the span of 33 yrs. It holds the record for making movies with three generations of heroes who hails from the same family.

Star Portrait-Bandla Ganesh



Bandla Ganesh is the most popluar producer and actor. Born in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, Ganesh started

his career as an actor. He starred in a movie called Thanks and later went on to star in films like Pokiri,

Malliswari,Arjun,Shivamani,Amma Naanna O Tamill Ammai, Suswagatam, Vinodam. He even starred in

tamil films like E, Sivakasi, Mohi, Autograph.

Bandla Ganesh even directed a film called Yamuna in 2012. However in his film career he tasted success

a a producer. He produced Ravi Teja's Anjaneyulu in 2009 and after its success he never looked back.

He went on to produce Pawan Kalyan's Teen Maar and with Gabbar Singh last hear he became top

producer and even IT officials turned their radar on him. There were many rumors on Bandla Ganesh

being benami of APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana.

However nothing was proved and after Gabbar Singh, he came with another successful venture,

this time NTR's Badshah. Now he has three more high profile ventures. They include Allu Arjun's

Iddarammayilato, Mahesh Babu's tapori and Ram Charan's film.

Star Portrait-Allu Aravind



He is the son of popular comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. His full name is Aravind Babu and he is born on 10th Jan, 1949 to Allu Ramalingiah and Kanaka Ratnam. He is a popular Indian film producer and distributor in Tollywood and political candidate. He produces films under his production company Geetha Arts with his brother in law, Chiranjeevi.

Personal

Allu Aravind is married to Nirmala and has sons Venkatesh Allu, Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish. Allu Arjun is successful hero while Allu Sirish is an entrepreneur who made his debut as hero with Gauravam. He is the uncle of Ramcharan Teja.

Political Forays

He used to be an active member in the Prajarajyam Party founded by Chiranjeevi Konidala, he resigned as general secretary of PRP and later again became the general secretary for the party on a special request from party president Chiranjeevi. He even contested unsuccessfully for MP seat from Anakapalli.

KS.Rama Rao is a popular tollywood producer. He produced many superhit films on his  Creative Commercials banner. Some of the most popular films include  Mounageetam, Abhilasha, Rakshasudu, Chanti, Matrudevobhava, and Swarna Kamalam.

Personal

K.S Rama Rao is from Vijayawada, India, where his father was the owner of a textile business. As a child, Rama Rao would go to the nearby theatres to enjoy the films of the day. Vijayawada was a hub for the film industry, and many of his friends were sons of theatre owners, enabling him to see films for free. On a trip to Madras in 1967, Rama Rao was introduced to director K. Raghavendra Rao. By the end of 1970, Rama Rao had worked on three films with him.

Film Career

Rama Rao was an ardent fan of Puttanna Kanagal a Kannada director. When Rama Rao heard he was making the film Nannu Preminchu entirely with newcomers, Rama Rao went to him and bought the rights with fifty thousand rupees borrowed from a friend and drawn from the recently opened Hong Kong Bank. For publicity, Rama Rao created newspaper and radio ads asking people when they wanted the film released. While this generated substantial curiosity, the film itself was considered a failure. Rama Rao recovered, however, and has gone on to produce a number of Indian films.
