Sukumar Bandreddi is popular director and screen writer. He worked for the films Manasichi Choodu, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Hanuman Junction and Dil as script associate and assistant director. He made his debut as director as Arya.

Background

Sukumar worked as a mathematics lecturer at Aditya Educational Institutions in Kakinada before entering the film industry.Since childhood, he had a passion for films, which eventually brought him to Hyderabad

Film Director

 Sukumar worked as an assistant director for the film Dil with V.V. Vinayakand directed his first film Arya in 2004, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu.His next film was Jagadam with Ram in the lead. His third film Arya 2 amid huge expectations was criticized by critics as an underrated movie despite of much hype of the audio, but was appreciated by Allu Arjun's fans. His latest movie, titled 100% Love and starring Naga Chaitanya and Tamanna, was produced by Bunny Vasu underGeetha Arts studio. It was released on May 6, 2011 and turned out to be successful. Sukumar is all set to direct Mahesh Babu in his next film which will feature Kriti Sanon as female lead.it is presently going in ramoji film city.

Currently Prince Mahesh Babu is busy shooting for his '1' Nenokkadine directed by Sukumar of 100% Love fame. Kriti Sannon is starring in the film in which even Mahesh's son Gautam Krishna is starring.

According to sources Kamal Hasan's neice Anuradha Chandra Hasan will be seen as Gautam Krishna's mother. Anuradha starred in films like Evaraina Epudaina as Varun Sandesh's sister in law and Ram's sister in Endukante Premanta.

Prince Mahesh Babu, Kriti Sannon's action thriller Nenokkadine is progressing in London at present. Accordingto the latest the filmmakers are planning to release the teaser on Prince Mahesh Babu's birthday which falls on Aug 9th. This will be the film's second teaser. The film's first teaser was released on Super Star Krishna's birthday. According to sources a special song will be caned from Aug 7th.

Filmmakers are planning to rope in either Jacqueline Fernandez or Sophie choudary for the song. An insider says "They are looking for a British-Indian actress like Sophie Choudry, so that she doesn't have to wait long for her visa to come through. Sophie has also done popular Hindi numbers in the past. The toss- up is between Sophie and Jacqueline, it depends on their work visa,". Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for the film directed by Sukumar.
