Manchu Manoj Kumar is well known as Manoj is an upcoming Telugu actor who acted in couple of Tamil films too. He was born on 20th May 1983 to popular film actor Manchu Mohan Babu and Manchu Nirmala Devi. He has an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an actor in Tollywood. He completed his schooling in Tirupathi. He did his bachelor’s degree from South-eastern Oklahoma State University.

Film Career 

Manoj is familiar to Telugu audience right from his child hood. He played many roles as a child actor in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid in flash back. Manoj faced the camera at the age of ten as a child artist in his father's film “Major Chandrakanth”. He got many appreciations for the role he did in the movie “Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm” starred by his father.

Manoj made his film debut in a leading role with Donga Dongadi in 2004 which is remade from a Tamil movie called “Thiruda Thirudi”. That was an average grosser at Box-office. He didn't have any hits after that. “Raju Bhai” in 2007 turned out be a below average even though the movie plot and narration was good. . His movie “Nenu Meeku Telusa...?” was an average grosser but known for its melodious music. In 2009 his first movie “Prayanam” in the direction of Chandra Sekhar Yeleti did moderately well.

His first movie in 2010, “Bindaas” turned out to be the biggest hit of his career. He received a Nandi Special Jury Award from Government of Andhra Pradesh for the movie “Bindaas”. His next film was “Vedam” which was a critical and commercial success. He gained accolades for his role in “Vedam”. And “Mr.Nookkayya” was a super Hit which was reviewed as an experimental movie. The movie revolves around a recurring amnesiac. It was weaved on the basis of an English movie Clean Slate and his next film “Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?” (UKUP)  turned the same with big loss. He produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

He has got an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an upcoming actor in Tollywood. He is currently working for two projects one is “Potugadu” which is going to hit the theatres with few months and next is Multi starrer film with his father Mohan Babu, brother Vishnu, Tanish and Varun Sandesh. This multi starrer film is coming under their own production house.

Manchu Vishnu Vardhan Babu is well known as Manchu Vishnu is an upcoming Tollywood hero and producer. He was born on 23 November 1981 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu to the couple actor Mohan Babu & Nirmala Devi. He has one elder sister Lakshmi Manchu who acts in television series and one younger brother Manoj Manchu who is also an actor. He married Veronica Reddy who is the niece of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and has twin girls born in December 2011 namely Ariaana Manchu and Viviana Manchu. He completed his B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Information Technology at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College and went  to Los Angeles in California to undertake course in acting and film direction. He is the CEO of Mohan Babu Corporation which produces the films. He is the sponsor of the Celebrity Cricket League Telugu Warriors. Vishnu Manchu is the CEO of MBC and SVE,T (Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust), a university chain of five colleges, and oversees several companies of their family like Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, Think Smart, and 24 Frames Factory.

Film Career.

Vishnu started appearing in the films at his age of four as a child artist. His first film was “Ragile Gundelu” in 1985 which was his first love for acting emerged. From that time, he was nourishing desires to become an actor. He entered Telugu film industry in 2003 through the film “Vishnu” directed by Shaji Kailas in which he worked as an SPFX supervisor as he had an interest in special effects, next film “Saleem” was shot on locations throughout Europe, India, and Thailand. But Vishnu got break in films with a movie” Vastaadu Naa Raaju” though it was an average hit.. He acts in one movie per year and some of the movies that he has acted include Vishnu, Suryam, Political Rowdy, Asthram, Game, Dhee, Krishnarjuna, Saleem, Vastadu Naa Raju, Dhenikaina Ready, etc.

Vishnu ventured into production and as produced two films “Yamajaathakudu” and “Sri”. Though Manchu Vishnu is from filmy background he has a very less films which are hardly successful. His film “Dhee” was one of the most successful Telugu films in 2007. His latest movie has been released called "Denikaina Ready" pairing with Hansika Motwani was created sensation at box office collection. This was one of the best films in the career of Vishnu until now.

Lakshmi Prasanna was born on 8th October 1976 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is an actress, singer, model, producer and a television host. She is the  only daughter of actor Mohan Babu and Vidya Devi.

She has acted in the American Television series Las Vegas and Desperate Housewives. She has also appeared in commercials for Toyota, AARP and Chevrolet.In 2006, she acted, directed, and produced Perfect Lives, a short film that was showcased at the Wilshire Fine Arts Theater as part of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles.

She became popular for her role Sarasvati Kumar, the love interest of James Lesure in American television series Las Vegas. The show gave her the chance to work with many stars, such as James Caan and Sylvestor Stallone etc. She starred in English films The Ode and Dead Air.

Manchu Bakthavatsalam Naidu is well known as Mohan Babu is a versatile actor, producer and Educationalist. He is serving Telugu Cinema from past four decade he completed 38 years of film journey as an actor and 30 years of film journey as producer. He is also an educationist and a former Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh. He was on 19 March in 1952 at Modhugulapalem, Tirupathi. He is the eldest son of a pious retired school headmaster Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu and Lakshmamma. He has three younger brothers Ranganath Chowdary, Ramachandra Chowdary, Krishna and one sister Vijaya. He had his schooling at Yerpedu village and Tirupati. He took his degree in Physical Education in Chennai. He worked as a physical education instructor for a brief while, before making his debut as an actor in the Telugu film industry. He was a class mate of Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, one of his closest friends in the film industry at the Madras Film Institute.  Mohan Babu married Vidya Devi and the couple were blessed with a daughter Lakshmi Manchu. After the death of Vidya Devi, he again married his late wife’s sister Nirmala Devi. He has two kids Vishnu Manchu and Manchu Manoj with Nirmala Devi. His two sons Vishnu Manchu and Manoj Manchu are leading film actors. Daughter Lakshmi Manchu is a producer and plays prominent role in their home banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

Film Journey

Mohan Babu is a versatile actor with his unique dialogue delivery. He had acted in more than 510 films which include 216 films as Hero. Be it any character, he has and is still known to dominate other actors onscreen. His straightforwardness and candid remarks are known all over. He made his debut as an actor in the film Swargam Narakam in (1975). He debuted in the Tamil film industry through Annan Oru Kovil in 1977 alongside Sivaji Ganesan. He became a popular villain in the Tamil and Telugu films. He went on to appear in 20 odd films in Tamil, mostly as villain. His film “Pedharaayudu” is one of the several films that have come to stay as evergreen hits made indelible impression on the minds of the people. His other hit films are Patnam Vachina Pativratalu, Kodama Simham, Khaidi No. 786, Major Chandrakanth, Padaharella Vayasu, Brahma,Assembly Rowdy, Allari Mogudu, Annamayya, Collector Garu, Yamadonga,etc. He started his career in small roles, and then donned negative characters before being cast as the protagonist in the movies. He has been rechristened Mohan Babu by his mentor, Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao, an eminent film and political personality. His adulation towards the legendary Mr.N.T.Rama Rao is well known, the latter even considers him his brother.

Political Journey.

Mohan Babu was elected to Rajya Sabha in 1995 and he made immense contribution as a parliamentarian till 2001 and he played an active role in Telugu Desam Party. After TDP founder NTR’s death he is way from politics. Now, recently he made a statement that he will make re-entry into politics soon, but he didn’t revealed in which party he is going to join.

As a Educationist

Mohan Babu established the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust in 1992 in Tirupathi. It has an International School, Degree College, Engineering College, Pharmacy College, College of Nursing, Management College and College for Post Graduation Studies.
