Gunasekhar is well known writer and director in Tollywood. He was born on June 2nd in Narsipatnam, Visakhaptatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Gunasekhar is well known for his creativity and lavishness on silver sreen. He is popular for his variety screenplay. Some of his blockbuster Telugu films include Ramayanam (1997 film), Sogasu Chooda Tharamaa, Choodalani Vundi and Okkadu.

Currently he is busy with his high budget venture Rudramadevi starrring Anushka and Rana.

Mahesh angry with comedy!

Prince Mahesh Babu is always a cool customer which compliments his looks. However he expressed his anger when people played comedy with him.

Gunasekhar tried to rope in Mahesh for his film Rudramadevi. However Prince refused saying his fans would feel if he plays a role subservant to Anushka.

Still Gunasekhar tried convincing him to play Gonagannareddy saying the project will get a boost. Prince then turned furious looking angrily and questioned 'Are you doing comedy?'
